• For use on gasoline or diesel inboard /outboard engines
The Bio eStart Solo can be used on gasoline or diesel engines. Removing the need for keys and start / stop panels. The engine starting and stopping process is entirely managed securely with out needing keys.
• Storage capacity for 1000 fingerprints
With the capacity to store 1000 fingerprints, each fingerprint is like a key for the engine, so multiple fingers , partners and crew can be programmed to enable enable the ignition and starting of the boat. Is ideal for boat shares where multiple owners can access the boat without the need to hand around or manage key sets.
• Designed for use on single engines
As most single engine boats are recreational boats, it makes sense to use the Bio eStart keyless engine starting solution on single engine boats as well. Whether the boat is a Cruiser, fishing, wake or ski boat left on a river bank or beach, the FinScan keyless boat ignition will secure the boat and shut its self down automatically.
Never worry about keys being left in the ignition again, your finger is the key. With the inclusion of start and stop buttons on the Bio eStart Solo, the boat engine can be started with the touch of a button.
• Ideal for tight dual engine installations
In some cases, helm consoles can be so tight in space, or configured for a split dual installation. In these cases, the Bio eStart Solo doubles as a cost effective split dual installation that allows a Port and Starboard head unit on either side of the console to manage the starting of each engine.
• “Plug and Play” installation with most engine brands
All FinScan Bio eStart models are available with a "Plug and Play" harness for most engine brands, this makes electrical installation easy , as the unit simply plugs in to the engine harness, and begins to control the boat ignition system with out keys. Loose end harnesses are also available for refit onto any older model engine.

The Bio eStart Solo is a MUST HAVE on any boat with an enclosed gasoline marine engine. It greatly reduces the chance of explosion during gasoline engine start up by the presence of dangerous gasoline vapours. By default, the FinScan Bio eStart Solo takes control of the enabling of the boat ignition and engine starting.
With ESM mode installed, FinScan also take control of the boat blowers, for use with the integrated FinScan fume detector to deliver the safest engine starting solution available on the market. Enforcing blower operation times and fume detector checks, the Bio eStart Solo will not enable , or allow starting of the boat engine until the dangerous conditions are removed or the operator bypasses the mode.
